Our understanding of grief and loss has changed dramatically over the last decade. This class will help you gain insight into the ways grief impacts the whole person(e.g. physically, emotionally, spiritually, socially), what “healthy grief” means, and how to care for yourself or someone close to you throughout the ebbs and flows of grief. This class is open to anyone who has experienced the death of someone in their lives with no restrictions on time since the loss - because there is no timeline for grief. Enrollment is limited to promote opportunities for personal connection, sharing, and questions.

Grief is often bewildering and overwhelming at any age, but even more so for most adults who feel unprepared and unequipped to support grieving children and adolescents. This class will focus on the unique grief needs of children, adolescents, and young adults (18-25) who have experienced the death of someone close to them. There is no restriction on time since the death as there is no timeline for grief, especially in developing minds, hearts, souls, and bodies. Enrollment is limited to promote opportunities for personal connection, sharing, and questions.

It’s hard to understand just how difficult the holiday season can be as a griever until you’re in the throes of it. This class will discuss factors for why grief can feel so hard during the holidays and provide specific steps and tips on how to meaningfully make it through. Enrollment is limited to promote opportunities for personal connection, sharing, and questions.

Love, relationships, and connection do not end when our loved ones die although they can feel different or even difficult. Spend an evening with family, friends, and others who understand the importance of remembering our loved ones as we complete a holiday craft and engage in fellowship. Families with children are welcome.
