Even If I am Weak

Even If I am Weak

There are seasons when we simply don’t have the words, and that is where lament becomes an act of faith. Lament gives us permission to bring our honest pain to God without pretending everything is okay.

However, there are times we may not the have words...what's cool is that, scripture and worship can give us words to borrow!

“God, the Lord, is my strength” (Habakkuk 3:19).

“About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God” (Acts 16:25).

We can sing when we can’t explain. We can pray the words of the Psalms when our own prayers feel empty. We can declare what is true even when we don’t yet feel it.

So if you don’t have the words today, borrow some:

-Sing the song

-Pray the Scripture

-Whisper the name of Jesus

Even if I am weak, He is strong.
